First grader receives "Croc Hunter" keepsake (NBC-WTHR)

School Nurse Marianne Vogt decided to make contact. "I've found it's pretty easy to get a response if you just ask for it."

So she did. What she received was a surprise to both Marianne and Theresa who said, "Steve sent him a hat with a croc on it, a toy croc, and venomous snake. I think the most favorite thing here is, he sent him an autographed picture to Adam personally. So he was thrilled over that."

The ink is still fresh and so are the wounds over losing the man who signed it. Adam didn't get the package until the day after Irwin's sudden death. -Linsey Davis

[According to the article, Adam Frank is the first grader with an antibody deficiency and admiration toward the late Steve Irwin, better known as the Croc Hunter. BK]
